In the Kohler Company Pottery, I was able to explore the use of molds to create my work. Process has often been integral to the content of my work, so I looked forward to the exposure to the production line and Kohler’s use of both nineteenth and twenty-first technology. My hope was that the use of molds would expedite the time it takes me to make my clay work, although I wondered about losing the evidence of the hand in the work. Neither proved to be true.
