Stripped of their color, mass and contents, my pieces loosely define the forms and domestic environments they are referencing. Delicate wavering clay slabs frame vacant internal spaces, as well as the void around the forms, creating an atmosphere of fragility, reverence and questionable stability.    view full text here

Chest of drawers made of cone 6 porcelain. This piece was constructed entirely post firing. The parts were cut from leather hard slabs and fired and then attached with epoxy. 41” x 42” x 16”
