Stripped of their color, mass and contents, my pieces loosely define the forms and domestic environments they are referencing. Delicate wavering clay slabs frame vacant internal spaces, as well as the void around the forms, creating an atmosphere of fragility, reverence and questionable stability.    view full text here

Mirage: Writing Cabinet, 2001
Cabinet made from cone 6 porcelain. It is made in two main sections in addition to each leg. The large section was fired on its back; the legs have steel rods inside them and are epoxied into the lower section of the piece. 68” x 25” x 16”
