Stripped of their color, mass and contents, my pieces loosely define the forms and domestic environments they are referencing. Mirage: Writing Cabinet, 2001
Cabinet made from cone 6 porcelain. It is made in two main sections in addition to each leg. The large section was fired on its back; the legs have steel rods inside them and are epoxied into the lower section of the piece. 68” x 25” x 16”
